I am so happy for you, truly. There is no doubt in my mind that you have plenty of support and helping hands but if you need more, don't hesitate to call. I'm looking forward to frequent updates.

She needs as big a loving family as she can get. Glad you're both in it.

I read your blog (did you know?) and I am sitting here with the largest, most overwhelming, lump in my throat and real tears. I am so happy for you. So completely filled with feelings of goodwill toward you and your family of three.

Is there anything I can offer you from my large supply of baby items? Do you need a sling or two? Baby anything? It can all be yours to use.

Alison and I still talk a lot about coming to your church (you know what I am up against with her) but it's actually our two little ones and my job on Sundays that has prevented it so far. I think of you and the community you are a part of often.

Thank you, Lisa!

We're still sorting out what we need: our faith community has been tremendously helpful and supportive. But I will let you know!

You and Alison may be interested in a couple of non-Sunday-morning worship opportunities:
Dive, 1st Wednesdays, singing, prayer, experiential stuff (like labyrinths, etc.), 7:30 p.m., starting February.
And, with God's grace, a new service at 5 p.m. on Sundays -- contemporary music, family-friendly, women's groups and youth groups afterward. That would start Marchish, hopefully.

Give my love to Alison and the babes. Happy new year!

Congratulations on the arrival of Elisabeth! Yes, I grouse and grumble about some of the "joys" of parenting but it truly is an amazing, wonderful, confounding, mind/soul-altering experience. May God be with you and Bran as you embark upon the exciting and wild journey known as parenting! Mazal Tov!
